Hi, I'm Rachael, I've been a Podiatrist since 1988 and I absolutely love it. There is no better feeling that meeting someone in pain, putting them at ease and making them feel better. I spent 12 years in the NHS where I spent time working in Diabetes and Rheumatology, moving into Private practice in 1999. In 2002 I developed Type 1 diabetes which was a major shock, so obviously I am very protective of my diabetic patients. I set up my first clinic in 2005 with a receptionist and built a thriving practice. In March 2019 I moved next door to bigger premises and we are now building our new state of the art surgery into something that covers every aspect of foot care from the simple and beauty orientated to the more complex surgical and biomechanical procedures. Catherine Hadley BSc(Hons) MCPod
Catherine has over 20 years’ experience as a podiatrist, having worked in the NHS with the Royal Wolverhampton Trust and in her own practice. She enjoys all aspects of podiatry, none more so than helping to ease patient discomfort and provide solutions and advice for foot health.
Catherine joined Rachael’s practice in April 2022 and is loving being part of a podiatry super-team!
Outside work, she is married with 2 grown up kids, loves her 3 cockapoos and is taking flying lessons to achieve her private pilot license.

We are delighted to share the news that Kate has not only passed her Foot Health Practitioner qualification but she has satisfied Rachael’s watchful eye and is now available to see clients!
An appointment with Kate is £43; ideal for patients with straight forward needs.
New patients will always be seen by our Podiatrists, either Rachael or Catherine, before we offer the option of seeing Kate to ensure we maintain the very highest degree of care possible.
With over 25 years experience of handling and beautifying feet, Kate is now thoroughly enjoying being able to help her clients with minor medical issues too and looks forward to a bright future with Village Podiatrists.
